The Jerusalem artichokes are unique plants that do not accumulate nitrates, heavy metals or radioactive elements and are rich in inulin. They are recommended for people with diabetes, atherosclerosis, high blood pressure, cardiovascular diseases, hepatitis and dysbacteriosis. Fructooligosaccharides and inulin that they contain are an extremely healthy nourishment for the “good” bacteria of the gut, that is why they are sometimes called “probiotics”.
