Ingredients:
- 200 g of butter;
- 200 g of chickpea flour;
- 100 g of coconut blossom sugar or dates;
- 2 spoons carob;
- A handful of toasted walnuts or other nuts;
- 1/2 tsp. cardamom;
- 1/2 tsp. ginger powder;
- 1/3 tsp. nutmeg;
- Berry powder for rolling.
Preparing:
- Melt the butter in a pot, add the chickpea flour and stir until the chickpea flour begins to brown and emit a nutty aroma (it will take about 15 - 20 minutes).
- When the aroma of nuts spreads, add sugar, carob and spices, heat a little while stirring so that the mass is uniform and the sugar dissolves.
- We add the nuts, mix well again and leave the whole mass to cool. Wait till we can form balls.
- We form balls of the desired size and roll them in berry powder, coconut or chocolate chips.
- We keep it in the refrigerator to harden for about 1 hour.
- Store in the refrigerator.
